When we met: 2010

Our Wedding Date: June 14, 2014

Occupations: Jay is a Construction Manager and business developer at a local construction firm. Ashlee is a Language Arts Teacher at a local Catholic School.

Education: Jay has his graduate degree in Project Management from the University of Mary, a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management from Minnesota State University Moorhead and an associate’s degree in Mechanical Drafting from Minnesota State Community and Technical College. Ashlee has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Literature Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her graduate degree in Curriculum Instruction, and Assessment from the University of Mary.

Where we live: We live in a small and quiet neighborhood. We are just a short walk away from a park, a community pool, a library, a cultural center, restaurants and both private and public schools.

Ethnicity: Jay-Norwegian, Irish, Scottish, German, French. Ashlee- German

Religious Practice-We are members of St. Joes Catholic Church. We are surrounded by a wonderful communitive of supportive families. We nurture our faith by attending weekly Mass.

Health: We are very healthy and active individuals. We keep up with our health by going for walks together, bike rides, playing tennis, ice hockey, and roller blading.

Child Care Plan: We are blessed to have wonderful family members, who have offered to help with child care. Jay’s mom plans to provide child care during the school months. Ashlee will stay at home with our child during the summer months.

School Preference: We live near a community with great educational opportunities all the way through the college level. We plan to send our children to the local private Catholic school district.

Hobbies/Interests: Jay enjoys many outdoor activities, such as, elk hunting, deer hunting, and pheasant hunting, fishing, farming, camping, and running. Ashlee enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, reading, shopping, and exercising. Together Jay and Ashlee enjoy, traveling, spending time at the lake cabin with Jay’s family and the farm with Ashlee’s family.

Additional Comments: We are thrilled by the thought of having a new addition in our family to love, encourage, and adore. The thought of raising a child will be our greatest joy and fulfill our hearts desire. Nothing could make us happier than to welcome a bundle of joy into our arms and hearts. Grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins are also awaiting another child to love!
